Parent/Guardian approval

All participants under the age of 18 must have the parent/guardian approval to be able to participate in canyoning. Prior to the activity, the participants will undergo safety training and receive safety information about situations that may arise along the trip.

Safety talk

The participants get an easy-to-follow safety talk before they go canyoning.

Experienced guides

There are always at least 2 experienced guides with youth group on the trip.

Quality equipment

Quality equipment will keep the children warm and safe.

The size of groups is adjusted based on the experience and needs of the participants.

  • Please listen what your guide has to say during the Safety Talk before canyoning. Make sure that you have understood what has been said.
  • Ask if anything is unclear.
  • You get a helmet, wetsuit, harness and river shoes. All equipment needs to be worn during the entire activity.
  • You must have swimwear under the wetsuit. Thermal clothing under the wetsuit should be adapted for weather conditions.
  • The harness must be fastened during the entire activity. If you are unsure whether the harness fits correctly, contact the guide immediately for an inspection.
  • Your guide is on the trip to help you and get you through the canyon safely. Following his/her instructions will make your trip the best it can be.
  • Walk slowly.
  • All participants has to sign the self-declaration before the trip.
  • People influenced by alcohol or drugs can not participate on the trip.

Canyoning is rappelling and sliding in mountain pools, rapids and river gorges.

Take with you

Towel, shower gel, swimming suit to have under the neoprene, thermal/woolen underwear (both leggings and T-shirt) and thermal/woolen socks.

Who can participate in youth group canyoning trips?

Self-declaration for parents / guardians of underaged participants

  1. I confirm that the participant can swim (can swim 50 m).
  2. I confirm that the participant does not have or has had diseases that can cause acute seizures.
  3. I agree to the processing of personal data.
  4. I accept that photos and video of the participant taken in connection with the implementation of activities with FULL ON AS can be used commercially and in the company’s marketing.
  5. I confirm that in connection with the activity the participant will receive safety information about situations that may arise along the way.
  6. I confirm that by participating in the activity, the participant agrees to have received sufficient safety information, and that the participant will be informed of risks and possible injuries. 
  7. I am aware that FULL ON AS has liability insurance, but not accident insurance for the participants. I therefore know that the participant is not insured through FULL ON AS if an accident occurs as a result of a situation the participant is to blame for, or for which FULL ON AS cannot be blamed.
  8. I accept that neither FULL ON AS, nor persons acting on behalf of FULL ON AS, can be held liable for any kind of damage that should occur to the participant in connection with the activities. By injury is meant both injury to person and objects.
  9. I accept that third parties, including family, may not make claims against FULL ON AS or against persons acting on behalf of FULL ON AS.
  10. Any claims against FULL ON AS are regulated by Norwegian law, and any lawsuits that do not lapse on the basis of the above must be brought at FULL ON AS local court.
  11. I have read the above, and understood what the statement entails. I understand that by signing below, I accept the risks that activity under the auspices of FULL ON AS entails, and at the same time I accept the above disclaimer.
