You ask about rafting in Dagali
Yes. The guide is responsible for the raft on the river. The guide is on the raft throughout the whole trip. 1 guide per 1 raft.
Participation in the activities is not allowed for person who:
- can not swim (does not apply to Family Rafting)
- is under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants
- is pregnant
- is outside age / height / weight requirements*
- have heart / lung problem
- have other preexisting injuries or disorders.
And generally a person who can not paddle (eg with a broken arm).
*Requirements:
- The limit for family rafting is 8 years or 120 cm.
- The limit for classic rafting is 12 years or 140 cm.
- The limit for FULL ON rafting is 15 years.
- Recommended limit for classic canyoning is 14 years and weight under 120 kg.
- The limit for extreme FULL ON canyoning is 16 years and weight under 120 kg.
Family – everybody get paddles. You can use them, but it is not needed.

You borrow certified neoprene wetsuits, helmet, life jacket, neoprene shoes, and jacket and gloves when it is cold.
We offer 3 thicknesses of neoprenes: 3, 5 and 6 mm.
We use modern, high quality river rafting equipment that we inspect thoroughly before each trip.
Yes. Nothing in the world is more likely.
Yes. But the water that flows into the neoprene flows out again. It is therefore safer than dry neoprene.
Important medicaments, for example for asthma and diabetes, are gathered by the guide at the beginning of the trip, placed in a waterproof first aid kit, which is in the raft.
In-raft guides are trained to take you safely down the river.
The overall risk level on a rafting trip using proper precautions and the right equipment is low. Thousands of people safely enjoy rafting trips every year.
The rafting trip participants sign that:
- they have been acquainted with the safety rules
- the trip is on their own risk
- they will always listen to the guide
- that photos and video from the trip may be used by Dagali Fjellpark for promotion.
No, and it is not even necessary. Rafting in Norway, it is an adventure in drinkable river water!
It is better to wear contact lenses for rafting. But we can also handle glasses (fasten them with tape).
Yes, our photographer takes pictures. At the end of the trip, you can buy the photos. You get them all on a USB flash drive, which costs 250 kr.
That is not a problem but we will be sad. The bus is following along. You may leave the raft and hop on the bus at several prearanged stops and meet the group again at the end of the trip.
